Maryann works in watercolor, acrylics, oil and pastel. Nature and her photography propel her work. Her creativity spans a career in contract design , followed by her passions: fine art & teaching. She completed her B.A. in Art Education at Monmouth University and continued at SCSU. Maryann has taught art in public schools as well as in healthcare settings and maintains her CT Art Educator certification.
        Maryann works at her home studio in Branford, CT. She is member of Shoreline Arts Trail, Guilford Art Center, Lyme Art Association, Greater New Haven Arts Council, National Art Education Association, and a founding member of the Branford Arts & Cultural Alliance (BACA). Her focus is on the arts, her students, her community & family.  Maryann’s art has won awards and is shown & sold in Connecticut.
